Diana Leaving the Library!
As some of you may have gathered (by the numerous signs and posters the lovely IR people have plastered around ScHARR), today's my last day in the Library! From 1st June, I'll take up the new post of Research Associate in Systematic Reviewing at ScHARR; leaving Information Resources where I have worked for the last three years.
It's been an absolute pleasure to work with you all in Information Resources, I feel very fortunate. I've made loads of wonderful friends and had some brilliant laughs. AND I WILL MISS YOU ALL LOADS!!
However, with my plans to be the Number One Library Enquiry desk user within ScHARR, I should imagine you'll all still be seeing an awful lot of me :-)
Thank you for a lovely time,
Diana xx

ScHARR Library Open day
Thanks to everyone who came to the first ever ScHARR library Open Day – hopefully those who did make it will agree the day was a great success. Not only was it an opportunity for colleagues from other sections to come and see what we do and how we can help them, but also for them to see the facilities we currently offer. The wonderful and wide selection of cakes made by the team were gracefully eaten and as a result over £80 was raised for the charity Shelter. As for the result of the guess the skeleton – he is called Frank by the way - although Paul Naylor in our Mental Health group believes him to be a female, this leads us onto a few other questions which we’ll no doubt address at some other juncture. Hopefully we will see everyone who attended that little bit more – so don’t be a stranger folks.
Below are just a selection of pictures taken on the day – you can view the rest on our Flickr pages.
